I would like to say a special thank you to Mr.Penny Edwards for taking time out at the 3rd annual Black Rodeo in Lafayette, La to do a memorial for my husband Kevin K.C. Cormier who passed away October 2, 2010. Kevin was an employee at Acadiana Dodge in Lafayette. Mr Penny you are awesome and we appreciate you and i mean that from the bottom of my heart. To everyone in the Real Cowboy Assoc. yall are awesome that was a great show and we will continue to support you guys everytime you come to Lafayette, La. Thanks again for everything.

I remember running in the black rodeos i loved it the people in this rodeo association are the nicest people i've ever had the chance to travel with. Now that my horse has passed i don't get to rodeo at all but i sure do go watch the black rodeos when i can. Well thank you for making rodeo a good experience for me.

We know that you are doing it up big time in the South the question that inquiring minds want to know is, When is the RCA coming west to California, Nevada, Oregon and Arizona? I would be interested in opening a dialog to find out if that is doable and what it would take.

i think that penny needs to make up his mind if they are going to rodeo or do concerts. and last year they would not let my grandson rope in the finals because he needed 1 more rodeo so i think that it needs to apply to all kids because i know 1 that didnt made enough of rodeos this year and he rope in the finals.so this year i am holding
my back alot.

I have not had the opportunity to go to not one rodeo this year. Only rode in the 4th of July parade in Paris, TX. Since I am retiring next year, I am making it my mission to go to as many rodeos as I can and then the finals in Bossier City. GOD SPEED TO EVERYONE TRAVELING TO BOSSIER CITY THIS YEAR. LIVE, LOVE AND HAVE FUN.

Penny-You out did yourself in Gladewater.The rodeo was off the CHAIN. My grandson was singing Lets Go Baby to the Hole in the wall, over, and over. Gladewater Rodeo had it going on!!!!

It is eye opening that the history of the black cowboy has been so suppressed. I'm doing a short paper for school on the legacy of the black cowboy. The assignment has expanded my horizons. I ran across your website during my research. Thanks to RCA for keeping the tradition alive and keepin' it real!!
